CONTROL: Noomi Rapace is adding “producer” to her list of film credits. The Swedish actress will have a hand in the making of her next three projects, including “Alive Alone,” which will reunite her with her “Prometheus” co-star Idris Elba.
“When I’m passionate about something, I kind of want to have a say in picking the team,” Rapace said at the Roland Mouret show in Paris on Friday. “I’ve always done that, sort of, but now I’m allowed to do it.”
While she won’t be attending the Oscars, Rapace felt for the nominees who have been working the awards circuit for weeks. “It’s quite shocking. I realized like four, five years ago — I had no idea about those Oscar campaigns. I think it’s really hard work.”
