Jared Leto is reportedly in early talks to replace Will Smith in Brilliance in which Noomi is due to star. Smith departed the project two weeks ago. The film is to be directed by Julius Onah. The screenplay will be by David Koepp from a novel by Marcus Sakey. Leto is reported to have already met the director Julius Onah to discuss the project.
The novel by Sakey is the first of a planned trilogy.
The plot involves a federal agent with a unique set of skills is drafted to hunt down a terrorist who is out to start a civil war.
