Rumours from the 2014 Cannes Film Festival are linking Noomi with a possible role as ‘Kathy Etchingham’ the girlfriend of the late Jimi Hendrix in a film called ‘Jimi’ . The director will be Ol Parker and Anthony Mackie is being lined up to play Hendrix. The project was originally titled ‘Crosstown Traffic’ and had Paul Greengrass as director.
